Buggy Track

Not often I am stuck for words !! However , some help would be greatfully received ............

For insurance purposes I need [ among a lot of other things] to "Describe the purpose and layout of the insured item !"  it goes on to say a full and truthfull description if not accurate will void any cover ,

This is needed before an assessor will call and provide a quote , Also attach a recent "Risk assessment document " and a method statement ,

Even my legal team are unclear !!

Any help welcome ,JP.

Re: Buggy Track

Well not much response on this one , still no further forward regarding any ins cover , however the track, or should say tracks are well on line to where I have planned ,

The buggy scene is not growing as much as I belived it would , notwithstanding that a dream of a place to play off roading is well underway to completion , due to high overheads and much legislation i doubt it will become a comercial venture , no matter so long as I can invite a few friends along as, and when I like the hard work will be worthwhile .

Our " leader" Pat has taken a quick look round ,  he offered good advice too , yet I was pleased i had already covered almost all the bases , and with a few more in the pipeline its gratifying to know this when completed will be as good as most concidering the nature of the terrain and constraints i have had to work by ,

I will carry on as best I see things , and enjoy the fruits of my labours .

Cheers , JP.

[ PS,  You coming along to my next meet Pat??.]

Re: Buggy Track

Hi John, sorry to have been quiet for a while - been really busy!

I agree about the lack of growth / interest in the buggy scene - very disappointing....

When is your next event?

What are the possiblities of viviting your site mid week soon with some students for a test session before they finish the course at the College?

Cheers, Pat.

Re: Buggy Track

Hi Pat , Hi Simon ,

Like you Pat I have been working non stop yet still managed to get a fair amount of my new perrimiter track completed ,

I had some enduro bikes here to give it a run all was well , so now just need to widen it a bit more to suit the buggys ,

I can get round easily in the 4x4 , so hope to give it a run soon ,  The June buggy weekend I planned is cancelled to a later date , hope you can get along , dont see a problem with a few extras ,

I have now completed the BuggyX tracck and the extra one built on the same field is 90% complete , down side is the Off road track we visitedlast meet is getting overgrown [ needs using ] up side is I have a new track round the outside !!

We talked about a meet in September , this is proving a hard task as so much goes on at harvest time , [ still not out of the question though , ].

Its looking like 10/11 july for a buggy weekend next ,  I am committed to other things imediately , so will reply in a couple of weeks with clearer details ,

Pat , you are down on the list for my next do , so be in touch soon ,

realisticaly , we need to plan for next year to make a profesional aproach.

Simon , Track is my own private one that I have developed over the last few years , It is " By Invite" . JP.
